Description
The Tomb of Isabella Weston, who died in 1903, is located in Arnos Vale Cemetery. It is a Grade II listed structure made of grey granite. The tomb features a rectangular sarcophagus with a curved cover that projects at the ends. Each corner is adorned with a squat post topped with a shallow saucer. There are projecting inscription panels on either side, supported by brackets, and sunken inscription panels at both ends. This tomb is noted for its unusual design influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement, reflecting significant trends in Edwardian architecture in tomb design. It has been listed for its architectural quality.
