Description

This is a mid-19th century pump located immediately to the north of The Old Rectory in Upton Magna. It is made of painted cast iron and features a circular shaft divided into two stages with moulded rings. The top of the pump is plain and has a splayed spout. It is topped with a fluted domed cap that has a finial, and it includes a curved handle supported by a decorative bracket. The pump is included in the listing for its group value.
