Description
The Rathbon memorial, located approximately 2 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St Mary, is a pedestal tomb dating from around 1812. It is made of sandstone and has a rectangular shape that tapers towards the top. The memorial features a moulded plinth and capping, topped with an urn finial. On the south side, there is a recessed inscription panel that commemorates Mary Ann Rathbon, who died in 1812.
