Description
The Rutton Memorial is a pedestal tomb located approximately 3 metres north of the north porch of the Church of St George. It dates from around 1802 and is made of sandstone ashlar. The memorial features sunken panels, a moulded cornice, and concave capping that supports an urn finial adorned with swags. It commemorates William Rutton, who died in 1802.
