Description

Milestone, probably from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of limestone and cast iron. The milestone is a rectangular stone with a rounded top and has a cast-iron plate fixed to the front. The plate features the inscription "SHREWSBY/9/IRONBE/4". The milestone is damaged, with the top missing, but it is part of a series of milestones.
