Description

This milestone, located approximately 600 metres southwest of Charlton Hill House, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made of grey sandstone and features a chamfered top. The milestone has a painted cast iron plate with raised lettering that reads: "SHREWSBURY/7/IRONBRE/6".
