Description

Ranslett House is an early 19th-century farmhouse with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of red brick with yellow brick headers, and features a low-pitched slate hipped roof with wide, spreading eaves supported by wooden brackets. The building is arranged with a 1:2:1 bay layout, with the central section projecting. It has glazing bar sash windows with gauged heads and stone cills. Entrances are located in the left return, through a late 20th-century flat-roofed conservatory porch, and to the rear. There is an integral red brick stack to the right of the central projection and a central ridge stack. The farmhouse is depicted on the 1837 Tithe Map of Eaton Constantine, a record held at the Shropshire Record Office.
