CRESSAGE C.P. SHREWSBURY ROAD SJ 50 SE SJ 5836 0452 (south side) 4/40 Milepost at N.G.R. SJ 5836 0452 II Milepost. Mid- to late C19. Cast-iron. Triangular post with chamfered top sloping to front; hollow back. Superscription: "WENLOCK/4 1/2" on top, "SALOP/8/T0 THE COUNTY HALL" (left side) and "B.NORTR/12 1/2 /TO THE TOWN HALL" (right side).
