Description

This milestone, located approximately 10 metres to the north-west of Emstrey Cottages, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of painted cast iron and features raised edges and lettering. The milestone has a triangular section with a chamfered top. The top is inscribed with "LONDON/145", the left side reads "SHIFNAL/15", and the right side states "SALOP/2M 6 FUR".
