Description

Milestone located at the west end of Atcham Bridge, likely from the early 19th century. It is made of painted cast iron, featuring raised edges and lettering. The milestone has a triangular shape with a chamfered top. The top is inscribed with "LONDON/147", the left side reads "SHIFNAL/14", and the right side states "SALOP/3M 6 FUR".
