Description
Emstrey Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1764, constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof. It has a T-plan layout and stands two storeys high with an attic. The building features a dentil brick eaves cornice and three gabled eaves dormers that contain 2-light casements. The gable ends are parapeted, and there are external end stacks. The facade consists of three bays with segmental-headed 3-light wooden casements and a central first-floor cross-window. The entrance includes a central six-panelled door with a radial fanlight, a plain surround, and a hood supported by fluted brackets, along with a 20th-century glazed porch. An insurance plate is located between the first and second first-floor windows from the right, and a date stone is set into the right-hand gable end. To the left, there is a 20th-century one-storey addition, and at the rear, there is a two-storey gabled wing.
