Description
The walled garden adjoining Ruckley Grange to the east was built in 1904 by Sir Ernest George and Yates. It features red brick, squared and coursed sandstone, and ashlar dressings, and is designed in a Neo-Elizabethan style. The garden has a rectangular plan measuring approximately 25 by 35 metres and stands about 3 metres high, topped with stone coping. The corners are marked by square piers with obelisk finials. There is a central entrance on the south side, which has a depressed-arched head, a keystone, and a wrought iron gate with an overthrow.
