Description
The drive gates, standards, overthrow, and flanking dwarf walls with railings are located approximately 90 metres north of Ruckley Grange and date from around 1904, possibly designed by Sir Ernest George and Yates. The structure features wrought iron and squared, coursed sandstone with ashlar copings. It includes two large gates with dog rails and a central JRW monogram, panelled standards topped with decorative finials, and an elaborate overthrow that displays a central shield. The flanking dwarf walls are complemented by railings that have enriched top rails and decorative scroll work in the centre.
