Description

The balustraded retaining wall, built in 1904 by Sir Ernest George and Yates, is located to the south of Ruckley Grange. It is made of squared and coursed sandstone with ashlar dressings and features a balustrade. The wall is approximately 100 metres long and 2 metres high, curving towards a gazebo at the southern end. The balustrade includes turned balusters and square piers, and there are four flights of balustraded steps on the west side.
