Description
Whiston House is an early 19th-century villa located on Holyhead Road in Albrighton. The house is constructed of painted brick on a stone plinth and features hipped slate roofs with wide modillion eaves. It is two storeys high and has a window arrangement of two over one, with glazing bar sashes that are single hung on the first floor, complemented by a sill band and gauged heads. There is a break to the right side, and a six-panel door is situated in the angle below a recessed semi-circular arch. A notable feature of the house is the shallow two-storey bow with three windows on the west side. To the east, there is a service wing, which is now a separate property and linked by a segmental arch, though it is not considered of special interest.
