Description
Lea Hall is a manor house that has been converted into a farmhouse. It dates back to the 16th century, with later additions and alterations. The exterior features pebbledash rendering and red brick in English bond at the rear, topped with plain tiled roofs. The building is two storeys high with attics and has a symmetrical front with two bays, a central bay, and a projecting gable on the right. It has stone windows with four and eight lights, which are both mullioned and transomed. The entrance is through a 20th-century door located at the angle between the projecting gable and the main range. Notable architectural features include a prominent external gable end stack with multiple brick shafts on the right and an integral ridge stack on the left, situated at the junction of the different roof pitches.
