Description
The Grey House is a house dating from the late 18th century, with 19th-century additions and alterations. It is constructed of roughcast with stucco rendering on the side and rear, topped by a plain tiled roof with two spans. The building has two storeys and a garret, featuring a three-bay main front. The entrance is located in a 19th-century wing on the right. Although the windows are all 20th-century casements, they retain original plastered lintels and fluted keystones. The house has a plastered eaves cornice and an end stack on the left that is corbelled out from the first floor. There are additions at the rear and a 19th-century gable-fronted wing to the right, which are of no particular interest.
