Description

There are two chest tombs located about two meters south of the Church of St. Chad. These tombs date from the late 18th century or early 19th century and are made of sandstone. They feature plain moulded tops, fluted corner pilasters, and decorated oval panels on the long sides, although the inscriptions are only partly legible. These tombs are included for their group value with the Church of St. Chad.
