Description
Bowling Green Farmhouse is an early 18th-century house located on Bowling Green Lane in Albrighton. It is constructed of red brick set on a sandstone plinth over cellars, topped with a plain tiled hipped roof. The building has two storeys and features a front with five bays, including a central entrance. The windows are glazing-bar sash style, with gauged segmental heads and raised plastered keystones. The entrance is framed by a plain limewashed sandstone doorcase with a moulded entablature, and the door is from the 20th century. Brick end pilasters rise to a moulded stone eaves cornice, and brick end stacks are partially concealed behind the roof ridge. There are late 19th-century extensions to the right and rear, which are not of interest. The house is shown on the Ordnance Survey map as Bowling Green House.
