Description
Langtoft House is an early 18th century building constructed from local brick. It stands three storeys tall, although the top storey has been reconstructed. The top storey features three windows with segmental arches and modern glazing bars. The first floor has five similar windows, also with segmental arches and modern glazing bars, while the ground floor contains four windows of the same style. There is a brick band between the ground and first floors, and the building has painted stone quoins and capping to the plinth. The central doorcase is plain and made of stone, featuring a pulvinated frieze and a moulded cornice, with a half-glazed door consisting of eight panels. A modern wall is present as well.
Langtoft House is part of a group that includes the former stables to Langtoft House, Albion House, White House Chambers, and Nos 69 and 71. The former stables are noted as buildings of local interest.
