Description

No 30, also known as East Elloe, is a late 18th-century house, although it is said that an earlier building from 1663 once stood on this site. The house has three storeys and is finished in roughcast. It features four stucco pilasters with Greek key patterned heads that separate the windows, arranged in a 2-1-2 configuration across all storeys, resting on a plinth. A notable projecting porch in the Greek Ionic style includes a frieze and cornice. The entrance door consists of six panels, four of which are glazed, and it has panelled reveals along with a rectangular glazed fanlight. The gate and railings are currently missing. This building forms a group with No 31, which is of local interest.
