Description
This milestone, located approximately 225 metres northwest of Green Shutters, dates from the mid-to-late 19th century. It is made of white-painted stone with a black base and black lettering. The milestone features a rounded top and is inscribed with the word "MILES" at the top, along with the distances to B. Castle (10 miles), Clun (4 miles), and Knighton (3 miles). It is part of a complete series of milestones, although Green Shutters itself is not included in this listing.
