Description

This is a terrace of four houses, originally built around 1800. The left-hand house has been converted into a shop. The building is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and four ridge stacks. It is three storeys high and features a dentilled wooden eaves cornice. The front has seven windows, with 16-pane glazing bar sash windows. Some windows on the first and second floors have been painted to resemble this style, though they are modern. The central entrances to numbers 26 and 28 have plain moulded doorcases with a moulded entablature supported by carved console brackets. These entrances have six- and four-panel doors with panelled reveals and traceried rectangular overlights. A similar entrance exists at number 30, while number 24 has a 20th-century shop front. There are round-arched passageways located in the second and sixth bays.
