Description

Two houses, now a shop and offices, were built in the early 19th century. They have undergone alterations in the late 20th century. The houses are constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and have a slate roof with two gable stacks. They feature a plinth, a band at first-floor level, and a gutter supported on wooden brackets. The two houses present a four-window facade of plain sash windows with brick flat arches. In the centre are three closely spaced wooden doorcases. The central doorcase leads to a passage and has a rounded head and keystone. The flanking doorcases have pilasters and open pediments, and all contain fielded six-panel doors with fanlights. To the right is a plain sash with a brick flat arch. To the left is a renewed shop window with a wooden surround featuring pilasters and a cornice, which contains a pair of twelve-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
