Outbuilding, Approximately 10 Metres South-West Of Manor Farmhouse

This outbuilding, located approximately 10 meters south-west of Manor Farmhouse, is possibly a former barn that was later converted into a cartshed with a granary above. It dates from the late 17th century and has undergone some alterations. The structure is timber framed with red brick infill set on a high uncoursed limestone rubble plinth. The gable ends are partially weatherboarded, while the front is clad in corrugated iron, and it features a corrugated iron roof. The building has two levels, with the framing consisting of square panels, three extending from the cill to the wall-plate on the back wall. The front is open, and there is a chamfered spine beam that supports the loft. An inspection of the roof structure was not possible during the last survey in November 1985. This building is included for its group value.
