CHIRBURY C.P. MARTON Outbuilding, approx.10m south-west of Manor Farmhouse (formerly listed as Outbuilding to west of Manor House)

GV II

Outbuilding, possibly originally barn, later converted to cartshed with granary over. Late C17 with later alterations. Timber framed with red brick infill on high uncoursed limestone rubble plinth, part weatherboarded to gable ends with corrugated iron cladding to front; corrugated iron roof. 2 levels. Framing: square panels, 3 from cill to wall-plate to back wall. Open to front with chamfered spine beam supporting loft. Interior: inspection of roof structure not possible at time of resurvey (November 1985). Included for group value.
