Description
This outbuilding, located about 15 yards west of Hills Farmhouse, is likely a former cart and implement shed dating from the late 17th century. It features a sandstone rubble plinth and rear wall, with a timber-frame structure that has brick infill, weatherboarded gables, and a corrugated iron roof. The building consists of six bays arranged in an east-west direction. The north elevation displays square panels, with two high panels extending from the plinth to the wall-plate, and two restored oak mullioned openings to the left of the cart entry, along with open top panels to the right. The east gable includes late 20th century central two-leaved doors beneath the weatherboards. Inside, there are raking struts connecting the ties to the principals.
