Milepost. Early to mid-C19. Cast iron. Triangular section with chamfered top. Superscribed serif lettering. Top: "B.CHURCH/PARISH", left-hand side: "SALOP/6 MILES" and right-hand side: "B.CHURCH/2¼ MILES". One of a series of mileposts on the Shrewsbury-Baschurch road.
