Description
This milepost, located approximately 180 metres southwest of Medley Farmhouse, dates from the early to mid-19th century and is made of cast iron. It has a triangular section with a chamfered top and features superscribed serif lettering. The top reads "ST. MARY.S/PARISH," the left side indicates "SALOP/5 MILES," and the right side states "B.CHURCH/3¼ MILES." This milepost is part of a series along the Shrewsbury-Baschurch road. Medley Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
