Description
Fitz Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the mid-to-late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a 20th-century concrete tile roof. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands three storeys tall, with a rear wing that is one storey and has an attic. Notable architectural details include a dentil brick eaves cornice, an external brick end stack on the right, and an integral brick end stack on the left.
The southeast front has three bays, with segmental-headed boxed glazing bar sashes that have painted stone lintels. There are low second-floor casements beneath the eaves, which were formerly semi-dormers. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with a three-part rectangular overlight, a moulded architrave, and a bracketed gabled hood. To the left, there is a one-storey wing that is set back and features an external brick lateral stack at the front. The interior has not been inspected.
