Farmhouse. Probably mid-C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber-framed with red brick infill, mainly roughcast; C20 slate roof. 3-unit baffle-entry plan with eaves raised. Two storeys. Three C19 casements directly below eaves and three to ground floor, two to left and one to right of boarded door with glazed panel to left of centre. Red brick ridge stack immediately to right with top rebuilt in C19 brick. Prominent stepped external end stack to left has dentilled capping and red brick lean-tos attached to front and rear, latter with fire window. Framing: square panels and tie beam, fragmentarily exposed to left gable end and former also to rear where not concealed by long C19 brick lean-to. Original wall plate also detectable beneath render to front. Single-storey C19 red brick outbuilding attached to end stack has segmental-headed boarded door and window and internal end stack. Interior. Inspection not possible at time of resurvey (February 1987) but noted as having blocked doorway directly in front of stack and likely to be of interest.
