Description
No. 18 St John's Hill is a house that may date back to the early 18th century but is largely from the early 19th century. It features stucco over brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building is three stories high with a basement. The front elevation facing St John's Hill has three windows and a doorway to the left, which is set in a pedimented case. The windows are sash style, and the doorway is blocked. The return elevation to Murivance has paired gables, with a square full-height bay window on the left that includes sash windows and exposed timbering. Beneath the right-hand gable, there are paired sash windows. A lower wing of the main range is part of this elevation, featuring a doorway to the right that is topped with a simple pediment supported by console brackets. The house has side walls and rear stacks.
