Description

This gate pier, located approximately 30 metres northeast of Sibberscote Manor, is likely from the late 17th century. It is made of red sandstone ashlar and has a square section, standing about 1.8 meters high. The pier features a moulded plinth and capping, along with the remains of a finial. It is now part of a late 19th-century railed enclosure surrounding Sibberscote Manor, which is not included in this listing. The pier is included for its group value with the manor.
