PONTESBURY CP Gate pier approximately 30 metres north east of Sibberscote Manor

GV II Gate pier. Probably late C17. Red sandstone ashlar. Square section, approximately 1.8m high. Moulded plinth and capping with remains of finial. Now incorporated in late C19 railed enclosure (not included) to Sibberscote Manor (q.v.). Included for group value.
