Description

Plealey Villa is an early 19th-century farmhouse that has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of reddish-brown brick and features a slate hipped roof with wide spreading eaves and prominent ridge stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window front with glazing bar sashes. The central entrance is set in a round-arched recess and includes a half-glazed door with a rectangular overlight, all beneath a plain Doric porch with a wrought-iron balcony above. Additionally, there is a glazed pyramidal top light at the center of the ridge, likely illuminating the stairwell. On the left-hand return, there is one window painted in imitation on each floor.
