Description
The gate piers, flanking walls, and end piers located approximately 25 metres south of The Manor are likely from the late 18th century and were remodeled in the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed from rusticated ashlar and gritstone, featuring a plinth. The structure stands about 2 metres high and stretches approximately 15 metres in length. All the piers are made of rusticated ashlar. The gate piers have a moulded cornice and a ball and cushion finial, while the outer piers are topped with shallow pyramidal caps. The curved walls that connect the piers have a slightly projecting flat coping. This structure is included for its group value.
