Description
Dovecote Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse situated on the east side of Knaresborough Road, North Deighton. It is constructed of coursed squared grey limestone with a graduated stone slate roof. The farmhouse is two storeys high and comprises three bays by two. A central glazed door, featuring an overlight, is set within an ashlar surround incorporating pilasters, an entablature, and a cornice. Sixteen-pane sashes are found throughout, set within flush wood architraves. The farmhouse has shaped kneelers, gable copings, and end stacks.
