LITTLE RIBSTON WETHERBY ROAD (east side, off) Bridge over River Nidd at Ribston Lodge

Bridge. Dated 1855. For Mr Joseph Dent. Squared rock-faced sandstone blocks and gritstone. Large central round arch flanked by 2 smaller side arches. Triangular cut-waters. Rock-faced voussoirs. Heavy squared and chamfered balusters to parapet and central cast-iron date plaque. Pointed parapet with pyramidal blocks over piers flanking central arch. The western portion only is in Little Ribston Parish, the remainder is in Great Ribston with Walshford (qv).
