Description
The former laundry house to Ribston Hall dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in English bond and features a Westmorland slate roof. The building has two storeys and four first-floor windows. There are wooden board doors on the left and right, each with a 4-pane overlight above. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, and all openings have slightly cambered gauged brick arches and stone window sills. An ashlar band runs along the first-floor level. The roof is hipped, with a stack positioned above the eaves at the center of the front wall and in the same location at the rear.
