Description
Stable house at Ribston Hall, built in the mid-19th century. It features cream and red brick in English bond and a Westmorland slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has four bays. An ashlar plinth supports a wide four-panel door in the third bay, which includes an overlight set in a plain surround with a cornice. Throughout the structure, there are sash windows with glazing bars, each having flat gauged brick arches and stone sills. An ashlar band runs along the first-floor sill. The eaves are decorated with alternating red and cream bricks in a dentilled pattern. The roof is hipped and has two stacks positioned just forward of the ridge.
