Description
The Mulliner Memorial, located approximately 10 meters north of the Church of St. Mary, is a pedestal tomb dating from around 1817. It is made of sandstone and features a square section on a rectangular base. The memorial has a moulded plinth and capping, with plain corner pilasters. The top is stepped and adorned with a fluted urn-shaped finial. The inscription on the west side commemorates Eliza, the wife of John Walmsley, who died in 1817, while the north side honors John Mulliner, who died in 1838. There are later inscriptions for members of the Boote family on the east side.
