Description

The John Morris Memorial, located approximately 5 metres north of the north aisle of the Church of St Mary, is a memorial dating from around 1832. It was created by Davies of Brilley, near Kington, and is made of sandstone. The memorial features a rectangular tomb set on a simple plinth, which was formerly enclosed by railings. It has a moulded lid and bands, along with decorative elements such as rosettes, an urn, and cartouches. The memorial commemorates John Morris, who died in 1832, and his wife Martha, who passed away in 1831.
