Description

The lychgate in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a lead awning roof topped with a cast-iron ball finial. The structure is square in shape and open, with broad segmental arches on each side, which are adorned with linked hood-mouldings. Inside, there is a flagstone floor, a rendered interior, and a plastered ceiling.
