Description
Beech Cottage is a cottage from the 18th century located on Church Road in Kington. It is constructed of colour-washed stone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof, with rubble end stacks that have brick caps. The building is two storeys high and has a single-window range, which includes two blocked openings. The main window is a round-headed two-light casement with a Gothick-glazed head, situated under a dressed stone semi-circular arch. To the left, there is a curved return under a corbelled first floor. There is a 19th-century rubble wing to the right, which includes a 20th-century casement and a window on the returned side.
