Description
The Wych is a house, now divided into two residences, that dates from the late 15th century with 18th-century alterations. It features a timber-frame and plaster construction, with painted stone rubble on the right and roughcast on the left. The roof is hipped and covered with graduated stone slates, featuring two gables on the left side. A banded rubble ridge stack and a brick lateral stack are present. The building has two storeys and a four-window range, with 18th and 19th-century casements, and a late 19th-century three-light casement on the right.
The central porch, added in the 20th century for No. 1, includes a leaded light and a plank door to the right, while to the left is an 18th or 19th-century mullion and transom light with a central casement. For No. 2, there is an early 20th-century door on the right and a 19th-century two-light casement under a jetty. The right side of the building features a three-light casement, and at the rear, there is an outshut with a timber-framed gable above.
