Description

This is a pedestal tomb located 15 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Lawrence in Church Stretton. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of sandstone ashlar. The tomb features a pyramid cap with cross gabled sides and a tapered solid shaft that rests on a moulded base. It has a plain weathered plinth and commemorates Thomas Robinson, who died in 1819, and his wife Ann, who died in 1830.
