Description

This headstone, located approximately 15 metres north of the porch of the Church of St Mary, dates from the late 17th century. It is made of sandstone and features a shaped top with incised decoration, including a recessed central panel. The inscription reads: "Here lieth the Body of John Son of John Colier who departed this life December the 6th day 1684 aged 16 years."
