Description
This is a grave slab located approximately 3 metres south of the east end of the nave of the Church of All Saints. It dates from around 1729 and is made of simple sandstone, featuring arched decoration at the top. The slab commemorates John, the son of John Streete of Cawthorne, who died on 18th April 1729 at the age of 41. It also notes that Thomas, the son of John Streete of Cawthorne, was interred here after he passed away on 22nd January 1742 at the age of 62. Additionally, it mentions Martha, the daughter of George and Mary Milner, who died on 10th August 1776 at the age of 36.
