Description
This building is a granary located about 65 yards east of Pontapina. It was originally a farmhouse from the 17th century and underwent alterations in the mid-19th century. The ground floor is made of brick, while the upper floor features weatherboards and iron sheets, topped with a slate roof. The structure has three bays and includes two small irregular openings on the ground floor. The gable end to the west has a set of tallet stairs leading to the granary and a door to the ground floor, with the gable being weatherboarded. The framing consists of two panels from the first floor cill to the plate, with V-struts over the collars of intermediate trusses and cross-bracing in the gable ends. There is also evidence of a plaster partition.
