Farmhouse. Perhaps C16 with C17 and mid-C19 extensions. Timber-frame, plaster and brick infill, finely coursed rubble, stone tiled roof, centre stack and stack to rear left. T-plan with the head of the T facing south. East/west C16 range has gabled projecting wing, probably C17, to north and a lower gabled cross-wing partially integrated with later catslide at east end. C19 brick and rubble extension to west. Two storeys, 1:3 windows. North elevation: to east one range of 2-light casements in cross-wing and in projecting centre wing, a 3-light casement between them with gabled half dormer over and a segmentally-headed opening to right (in mid-C19 extension). The projecting gable has a 4-light bracketted C17 oriel (altered) and has mid-C19 bargeboards and quadrant finial; curved V-struts to apex of gable. Ledged door with C19 lean-to in angle with central wing. Further entrances into catslide extension and to right of projecting gable. Interior: C17 oak panelling to left hand front and rear principal rooms, broach stop chamfers to main ground floor ceiling beams. Left hand lean- to has late half raking strut trusses.
