Description
This cowhouse, located about 75 metres north-west of New Weston Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and rubble with a hipped stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features a dentilled cornice. On the first floor, there is a loft door towards the left, a 2-light casement window further to the left, and three 2-light casements to the right of the door, all of which are set under segmental heads. The ground floor is made of rubble and includes stone steps to the left, a roughly central entrance to the cowhouse, a 3-light casement window, and another entry to the right, with all openings also under brick segmental heads. This structure is included for its group value.
