Description
Town House Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with extensive additions made in the mid-19th century. It features coursed rubble and render on a timber frame with brick infill, topped by a hipped slate roof. The building has an H-plan layout, with a rendered stack on the left side of the right wing and a brick stack at the junction of the left wing and the main range. The first floor has multi-pane metal casements of different sizes, all under square labels, except for the right wing. The entrance is located to the right of the main range, featuring a doorcase with Doric pilasters. The recessed door has a three-pane overlight and a four-panelled door. The right wall of the right wing displays exposed timber framing on a high rubble plinth, consisting of four square panels high to the wall-plate.
